PSX ISO: Arc the Lad - Monster Tournament - Battle Arena - USA

  jr_theman2001 is correct you actually battle different monster here more like a tournament of monster and in one part of the game you can actually use all of your active rooster and the more you win the better prizes you can get at the warehouse, its actually fun having to toil with weak monster but sooner you'll realize that the more monster you slay the higher levels and stronger they become, i actually play this game at the present, so much with God of War III on my PS3... ^_^

  It reads the memory card at the start of the game, do I need another Arc The Lad game to make this work properly?

  This game was released as a set with all the other arc games at the same time, this game reads the info off of (I believe) the third game and imports your monsters into it, you don't however need to play the other game for this to work.
